The problem

Two restaurants on Kea and a clinic in Larnaca needed sites that load fast on a phone and show up in search. The clinic needed ten languages.

My approach

  • I found the clients myself through cold outreach and signed 3 in the first week.
  • I did the design, build, content, deployment and support myself.
  • Automated end-to-end and accessibility tests run in CI, and on one site the build fails if its SEO score drops.

Build

  • Astro and TypeScript, deployed on Vercel.
  • Structured data, sitemaps and multi-language hreflang where needed. The clinic’s site runs in 10 languages, including right-to-left.

Result

All three sites are live, each one shipped within a week of the first commit.

What I took from it

  • Finding clients took as much effort as building for them, and I liked that part too.
  • With tests in front of every deploy, I catch most mistakes before a client sees them.
